SFU had an urgent need to modernize their student evaluation of teaching to take student success to the next level.

  • Led development of new approach to student evaluation of teaching in close collaboration with the Teaching and Learning Centre and academic faculties, enabling replacement of badly outmoded system; recommendations approved unanimously by the University Senate
  • Successfully led the implementation of a new student evaluation of teaching system resulting in an effective, university-wide, centralized system with variability and ownership at the faculty, department, and instructor levels

Urgent Business Process Change

Simon Fraser University is subject to the British Columbia Criminal Records Review Act (CRRA). Amendments to the CRRA that affect post-secondary institutions were coming into effect.

  • Led urgent changes to business processes to comply with new criminal record check legislation
Complex Multi-Stakeholder Initiative

On September 9th, 1965, SFU opened its doors and welcomed its first class of 2,500 students. The 50th anniversary provides the university with an opportunity to celebrate this important milestone and showcase SFU’s evolution.
