Vancouver 2010 needed to deliver the first ever successful perimeter intrusion detection system for electronic security.

  • Delivered installation, support, removal and remediation of a perimeter intrusion detection system for 27 km at 20 major venues and 3 command centres
  • First ever successful implementation of perimeter detection at any Olympics resulting in major reduction in the requirement for security personnel
  • Managed over $50 million in external contracts; developed highly effective team of 400 at peak; project delivered on time, and $9 million under budget
